The September school holidays are sorted on Redlands Coast, with a packed program of activities planned to keep children of all ages entertained.

Redland City Acting Mayor Julie Talty said events catering to a wide range of interests would be held at Redland Performing Arts Centre (RPAC), Redlands IndigiScapes Centre, Redland City Council Libraries and Redland Art Gallery.

“Council venues will be a hive of activity, more so than usual, during the school holiday period from 19 September to 5 October,” Cr Talty said.

“RPAC is packed with interactive adventures for young families through to a breathtaking circus for older children.

“Children interested in nature can visit IndigiScapes to build a frog or bee hotel, join an interactive wildlife show or join a scavenger hunt.

“The libraries are offering exclusive teen activities, as well as Bluey and Harry Potter-themed events, and arts and craft.

“The creative theme continues at Redland Art Gallery with workshops on creating mosaics and line drawing.

“Many of these events are free or low cost but most require bookings, so I encourage everyone to check out the school holiday activities listing on Council’s website and start planning for a fun-filled break.”
