Redlands Coast has never looked better – especially on digital screens.

Redland City Council has launched a new website that showcases the very best of Redlands Coast as a place to visit, live and invest.

Acting Mayor Julie Talty said the new website brought together tourism, lifestyle and economic development information in one integrated destination.

“Redlands Coast has so much to offer, and this new website helps us showcase our city more effectively to a range of audiences, whether they are planning a visit, considering a move, or looking to invest in our region,” Cr Talty said.

“People are increasingly seeking trusted, high-quality information online when making decisions about where to spend their time, build a business, relocate or invest.

“This website provides a single destination where they can discover everything Redlands Coast has to offer.”

Cr Talty said the site had an expansive scope that highlighted what Redlands Coast had to offer through three major sections of information and interaction.

“The site’s element of Visit Redlands Coast promotes our region’s tourism appeal and offers links to things to do, places to stay, where to dine, and much more,” she said.

“The current seasonal theme on the ‘Visit’ section references the annual whale-watching season under the tagline ‘Closer than you think’.

“Live Redlands Coast showcases our lifestyle and explains why it is such a great place to live and work.

“Both for residents and people wanting to move or work here, the site is bursting with reminders of why our city is the envy of many.

“Rounding out the three pillars is Invest Redlands Coast which highlights the economic opportunities our city offers and, in doing so, supports local business growth.

“The commercial advantages of a coastal lifestyle are demonstrated through a series of business case study videos in the ‘Invest’ section, alongside links to insights, data, commercial opportunities and business support.”

Cr Talty said the strength of the website lay in its integrated approach.

“Many people first experience Redlands Coast as visitors before choosing to relocate, start a business or invest here,” she said.

“By bringing together information about visiting, living and investing in one place, we can better support those journeys and showcase the many opportunities our city offers.”

Cr Talty said Council’s investment in promoting Redlands Coast delivered benefits for the entire community.

“Promoting our city helps attract investment, increase visitor expenditure, support local jobs and encourage skilled workers to build careers here,” she said.

“These outcomes strengthen our local economy and support the long-term needs of both our community and local businesses.”

Redlands Coast’s vibrant, year-round events calendar can also be accessed through the website’s popular What’s On section.

Cr Talty also acknowledged the residents, business owners and community members who had helped bring the Redlands Coast story to life.

“The website features the stories, talent and experiences of people who live and work here, and I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to showcasing our city,” she said.

“I really encourage residents and local business operators to share the site with their family, friends and connections.

“Our community, alongside Council, plays a critical role in helping promote our beautiful part of the world.”

The new website features stunning photography, videos and inspiring local content. Visit redlandscoast.com.au to explore everything Redlands Coast has to offer.
