The Redland Performing Arts Centre (RPAC) Box Office has returned home to the Concert Hall foyer as upgrade works in the centre’s forecourt near completion.

Redland City Mayor Jos Mitchell said the return of the Box Office from the Cleveland Administration Building was great news for showgoers.

“The Box Office reopening in the Concert Hall foyer marks a milestone for the forecourt upgrade project, which is set to be fully completed in the coming weeks,” the Mayor said.

“We thank the community for their patience and understanding while the Box Office was temporarily relocated off site during the period of major construction works in the forecourt.

“Its return to the RPAC Concert Hall foyer following this phase of the project means tickets to events can once again be purchased on site, subject to availability.”

The Box Office is open from 9am–4pm Monday to Friday as well as one hour prior to advertised performances.

Patrons are reminded that tickets to performances and events at RPAC are also available online at rpac.com.au or by phone on 07 3829 8131 (during opening hours).

Division 2 Councillor Peter Mitchell said RPAC had a vibrant and varied line up of events scheduled for the coming months.

“This includes kids school holiday activities, musicals, workshops, tribute concerts, and Christmas events in December,” Cr Mitchell said.

“The return of the Box Office to RPAC will offer convenience for showgoers and means the forecourt upgrade is another step closer to completion.

“The major construction works have now been finalised and finishing touches are currently being applied to the space.”

Encore Coffee has also reopened and is operating from 7.30am–1.30pm Monday to Friday plus one hour prior to advertised performances.
