This year 43 Redlands Coast enterprises have received industry recognition for their delivery of consistently exceptional experiences.

It represents more than double the number of local enterprises who made the previous financial year’s Tourism and Events Queensland’s Best of Queensland Experience Program list.

Redland City Mayor Jos Mitchell said the 2024-2025 financial year list included Council-owned and operated experiences Redland Performing Arts Centre, Redlands IndigiScapes Centre and the IndigiScapes Café.

“The sheer number of Redlands Coast operators who are on the list shows what an outstanding destination our city is for tourism experiences,” the Mayor said.

“It is fantastic to note the doubling in the number of businesses and operators represented – from 21 last year to 43 this year.

“These operators deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive visitors to our city, which in turn boosts our economy and ultimately creates more local employment opportunities.”

The annual Best of Queensland Experience Program started in 2018 to encourage operators to strive for excellence. In the first financial year Redlands Coast had 16 operators listed, that had jumped to 27 by 2022-23.

Businesses are rated on an independent set of criteria that includes the consistent delivery of an exceptional experience based on positive customer reviews, website with secure online booking, social media presence, as well as holding industry membership and accreditation.
