Redland City Council has provided funding to help 10 organisations hold free events for young people on Redlands Coast as part of Queensland Youth Week in April.

Mayor Jos Mitchell said the not-for-profit community and sporting organisations received funding through Council’s Activate Redlands Coast Youth Week Program to deliver events for young people aged 12 to 24.

“There is a very exciting mix of events and activities planned for young people encompassing a range of sports, a colour fun run, gaming, weaving and an alternative music and culture festival,” the Mayor said.
