Where: Redlands Performing Arts Complex, 2 – 16 Middle Street, Cleveland

Time: 9am – 1pm. Registration from 8.30am

Events give organisations the opportunity to ‘come alive’ and to showcase their activities or services in the community. Events are an important part of community life and it is a rewarding experience to contribute to a successful event. However, anyone who has been involved in running an event understands how daunting the task can be.

This workshop has been designed to provide your organisation with the necessary tools to prepare a comprehensive Event Management Plan.

It is also a chance to be inspired to develop new events, increase community engagement and network with other event organisers from the city.

Key note speakers:

  • Gary Humphries – renowned organiser of events including Gold Coast Indy, Brisbane World Master Games and the Queen’s Birthday leg of the Olympic Torch Relay in 2000.
  • Panel of event management experts.
