Redland Performing Arts Centre (RPAC) has unveiled its exhilarating 2026 season that brings world‑class theatre, thrilling physical performance, classical brilliance, beloved Australian artists and big‑name comedy to Redlands Coast.
Redland City Acting Mayor Julie Talty said the program underlined RPAC’s role as the city’s premier entertainment venue.
“This is an exceptional RPAC season – bringing together the best of our state and national companies, world‑class international touring productions, and the iconic voices of Australian music and comedy,” Cr Talty said.
“It’s a program you’d expect to see in a capital city, delivered right here on Redlands Coast for our community to enjoy.
“RPAC is a valued asset for our city, and this program sees it used to its full potential by drawing audiences, supporting local jobs and showcasing Redlands Coast as a destination for outstanding arts and entertainment.”
Some of the highlights of the 2026 season are:

- Whip‑crackin’ musical mayhem
Leading the season charge is Queensland Theatre’s smash‑hit revival Calamity Jane, rolling into RPAC fresh from its sell‑out Brisbane season. Naomi Price stars in this “deliriously funny” musical that sweeps audiences straight into Deadwood’s rowdiest saloon. This acclaimed immersive version of the classic will have audiences feeling like that are part of the action.

- Physical spectacle and global rhythm
Audiences can revel in the exhilarating physical artistry of Circa’s Wolf, a “gasp-inducing acrobatic thrill ride” driven by “raw energy and astounding physicality”. Circa, based in Brisbane has worldwide appeal, and RPAC is thrilled to bring them back to Redlands Coast. You can also be transported to distant shores by Drum Tao’s breathtaking Japanese taiko drumming; or immerse yourself in the internationally acclaimed Irish dance and music extravaganza A Taste of Ireland.

- Music to stir the soul
RPAC’s classical program showcases the full emotional range of orchestral and chamber music when Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Camerata and the Orava Quartet make a welcome return with programs spanning beloved classics, genre‑bending contemporary works and intimate string‑quartet masterpieces. It’s the kind of music that reveals its true magic when heard live – soaring, stirring and resonant – in RPAC’s acoustically pure Concert Hall. Opera lovers can also savour Opera Queensland’s Studio Series, offering exquisite storytelling and vocal artistry up close, including Carlos Bárcenas’ Latin‑American journey Alma Latina! and Alexandra Flood’s tribute to Dame Joan Sutherland.

- Australian icons and big laughs
Unforgettable live music returns with Casey Donovan and Vika & Linda, whose powerful vocals and artistry continue to captivate audiences nationwide. The program also includes tributes to some of the biggest artists in music history – from the folk harmonies of Simon & Garfunkel to the raw soul of Joe Cocker’s greatest hits. Comedy fans won’t miss out either, with a stellar lineup featuring Dave Hughes, Ross Noble, Geraldine Hickey, and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow.
The Acting Mayor said RPAC was “your place for entertainment in 2026”.
“Our customers continue to give us high praise about the venue and programs on offer, and this season will not disappoint,” Cr Talty said.
“I urge you to go to the RPAC website and check out the outstanding shows coming soon to the RPAC stage. For even more value, the Redland Arts Membership Program offers excellent benefits.”
