Redland City Council is seeking feedback from the community to help inform the development of the 2026–2027 Redland City Council Budget.
Mayor Jos Mitchell said the feedback received from a short survey would help guide Council in prioritising services during budget discussions starting in early 2026.
“Council takes a number of matters into consideration when making decisions about the Budget,” the Mayor said.
“This includes Council’s Corporate Plan, Financial Strategy, Asset Management Plans and other supporting strategies, as well as community feedback provided in the biennial Customer Satisfaction Survey.
“The last survey was conducted in 2024, so it is timely to engage with the community again to understand what services our community values and is willing to fund, especially in the current challenging economic environment.
“It is important to note that essential Council services such as waste, water and roads will continue to be funded.”
The community engagement survey is available online via Council’s Your Say Redlands Coast website and via postcards available at Council libraries and customer service centres.
The survey will be open until Sunday 30 November 2025.
