Advisory signs and smoke hazard signs will be in place, and motorists are advised to drive with caution and to conditions.

Residents should close windows and doors, and keep medications close by if suffering a respiratory condition.

The purpose of the burn is to reduce the volume of forest litter fuel, which will assist with hazard reduction – reducing the fire danger and providing conditions essential for native regeneration.
