Planned burn underway at Emu Street Conservation Area

Please be aware that a planned burn is in progress at Hillcrest Road, Sheldon.

An area of about 9 hectares will be burned for hazard reduction and ecological purposes.

The burn is likely to take about three hours but Council’s parks and conservation crews will remain onsite for most of the day to ensure the fire is entirely extinguished.
