Great news for those visiting Redland City’s great tourism locations with news two RV dump locations expect to be installed by the end of the year.

Council has been working closely with the Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia to identify locations for RV dump locations in the Redlands and we hope to have two dump sites installed at John Fredericks Park, Capalaba and William Street Marine Facility, Cleveland in time for the busy Christmas period.

This project is great news for tourists as well as the Redlands tourism industry with it likely to result in an increase in tourism to the city.

RV owners Jim and Roz Grevett from Capalaba, know only too well how important RV dump sites are for those who spend time on the road.

“We actually asked Cr Gleeson recently if they were going to install dump sites in the Redlands because if we go on a trip it is always good to know that there is a dump site to use when you return home,” Roz said.

“RV dump sites are very important for RV drivers.  A lot of drivers plan their trips based on where dump sites are so it’s great that two are being installed in the Redlands.”
