Redland City Council has opened a new round of expressions of interest (EOI) for its 2026-2028 public exhibition program at Redland Art Gallery (RAG).

The second round of EOI opens today (9 July) and closes 11 August 2025.

Acting Mayor Julie Talty said RAG had presented a public exhibition program for more than 20 years that focussed on quality contemporary practice in all mediums by artists in various career stages.

“This program is a great opportunity for artists to partner with Council in harnessing and driving innovation and vitality into our local arts and culture scene,” she said.

Local artists, artist collectives and curators are invited to submit an EOI to exhibit at both RAG and the Redland Performing Arts Centre Mezzanine in 2026-2028.

Exhibitions generally run for six to eight weeks and are often accompanied by workshops and talks by artists and curators.

The program aligns with Council’s Creative Arts Service Strategic Plan 2024-2029.

RAG’s 2026 program of exhibitions will be published in the coming months with future years to be announced in due course.

For more information about the EOI and how to apply, go to the Redland Art Gallery website.
