Immerse yourself in an ultimate art and culture adventure in May at the inaugural Redlands Coast Gallery and Museum Hop.

With 10 galleries and two museums open to visit across the mainland and islands on the weekend of 23 and 24 May, people can take a self-drive tour and discover the breadth of history and art on Redlands Coast.

Redland City Mayor Jos Mitchell said the two-day Hop would be held as part of Redlands Coast AdventureFest, which itself will offer a range of city-wide events and activities over 10 days from 15 to 24 May 2026.

“The Gallery and Museum Hop builds on the arts and culture adventures offered at last year’s AdventureFest,” the Mayor said.

“This is an opportunity to view amazing works that showcase the city’s creative talent and displays that highlight its cultural heritage.

“You can also unleash your inner artist and create your own masterpiece at workshops.

“Many of these workshops have been designed especially for AdventureFest.”

The Mayor said the Gallery and Museum Hop aimed to encourage more participation in the arts on Redlands Coast.

“This event will help to raise the profile of some of the great art and cultural organisations in our city and they are all very excited to be involved,” the Mayor said.

“The benefits will go beyond AdventureFest as the Hop will draw attention to these cultural destinations and hopefully people will be enticed to return to experience more.”
