A local fire ban is currently in place for Redland City local government area and will remain in place until 11.59pm on Tuesday 7 October.

Under a local fire ban all open fires are prohibited and all Permits to Light Fire that have been issued in the designated areas have been suspended for the duration of the ban.

Visit the Queensland Fire Department (QFD) website and Facebook page for the latest information on bushfire warnings and fire bans.

The Redlands Coast Disaster Dashboard also includes a map showing QFD warnings, current incidents and the latest Fire Danger Rating.
