UPDATE Monday 10 March 2025: Places of refuge remain OPEN tonight Monday 10 March

The below nominated places of refuge will remain open tonight as a short-term measure for residents who are unable to take refuge elsewhere while we are still experiencing severe weather caused from Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.

Places of refuge are not evacuation centres – they should be used as a last resort. We strongly recommend people seek refuge with friends and family in the first instance when safe to do so.
