The Alfred Martin Way causeway near Main Beach on North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah) is closed due to flooding from recent rain.

The water is at a high level over the causeway, which is one of two entrances to Main Beach, and it has been closed to all traffic.

People wishing to access Main Beach can still do so via George Nothling Drive, Point Lookout.
