Thornlands hazard reduction burn postponed until tomorrow

Scheduled hazard reduction burns: Capalaba, Thornlands, Redland Bay, North Stradbroke Island

The hazard reduction burn scheduled for today (Thursday 2 May) at Dinwoodie Road, Thornlands  has been postponed due to high winds forecast for this afternoon.

Weather permitting, it will now take place tomorrow, Friday 3 May.

While all attempts will be made to limit any smoke hazards, there may be partial road closures and minor delays.
