The Redlands is full of inspirational people and one of them could be the next Australian of the Year! These prestigious awards begin with a nomination from a member of the public.
Nominations for the 2017 Australian of the Year are open until Sunday 7 August, with four categories available:
- Queensland Australian of the Year
- Queensland Senior Australian of the Year
- Queensland Young Australian of the Year
- Queensland’s Local Hero
The Queensland recipients will be announced in November and represent our State at the national awards ceremony held on the eve of 2017 Australia Day in Canberra.
