Trees for Weeds Day

When: Saturday 1 August, 10am-4pm
Where: Indigiscapes, 17 Runnymede Road, Capalaba

Exchange unruly, invasive weeds for native plants at our mainland Trees for Weeds Day. Claim a free native plant for every plastic shopping bag of weeds you bring along (up to five plants per person). Council’s weed experts will be available for advice on managing weeds. The native plant nursery will be open for sales. All weeds are welcome, however, this year’s focus is Wild Tobacco, Chinese Burr, Morning Glory and Green Cestrum.

Wellington Point community meeting

Learn how to eradicate obnoxious weeds from your backyard ahead of the Bay Islands Trees for Weeds Day on 15 August. Bring along weeds for identification.

Family Sunday at the Gallery

Where: Redland Art Gallery – corner Middle and Bloomfield Sts, Cleveland

Join us at Redland Art Gallery for fun family art activities suitable for all ages. No RSVP required. Parents must remain with children while participating.

The annual Redland City Mayoral Prayer Breakfast will be held on Friday 28 August 2015 at Redlands Sporting Club. Tickets are now on sale from RPAC.
