Maintenance on the four beginner trails starts on 27 February and is expected to be completed by late May, subject to weather and other factors.

The works will involve staggered closures, with each of the trails reopening progressively as works are completed.

Expected trail closure dates, weather permitting, are:

  • Sock-Puppet East – 27 February to 5 March
  • Sock-Puppet West – 6 March to 2 April
  • You’re Kidding – 3 to 23 April
  • The Maze – 24 April to 21 May.

Trail users are urged to follow signage instructions on the staggered closures at the entrances to the bike trail network at Bayview Conservation Area and stay off trails while they are closed for maintenance.
