Council closures for Anzac Day and Labour Day public holidays

Council closures for Anzac Day and Labour Day public holidays

Council offices, customer service centres and libraries

Redland City Council offices, customer service centres and libraries will be closed on Anzac Day (Tuesday 25 April) and Labour Day (Monday 1 May).

During this time, library after hours return chutes will be closed and no library items will be due.

Redland IndigiScapes Centre, café, native nursery and botanic gardens

Redland IndigiScapes Centre, IndigiCafe, the Native Nursery and Botanic Gardens will all be closed on Anzac Day (25 April) and Labour Day (1 May).

Walking tracks will remain open.

Bin collections

All bin collections will continue as usual on each of the public holidays.

Please note there will be no bin deliveries or exchanges on public holidays. Report any missed services online or by calling 3829 8999.

Recycling and Waste Centres

All mainland and island Recycling and Waste Centres – except on Coochiemudlo Island, which doesn’t open on Tuesdays – will be open on Tuesday 25 April (Anzac Day).

All mainland and island Recycling and Waste Centres will be open on Monday 1 May (Labour Day).

Residents should check the website for all other opening times.

RecycleWorld Redland Bay

RecycleWorld Redland Bay is only open on Tuesdays and Fridays, but will be closed on Anzac Day (Tuesday 25 April).

Redland Animal Shelter

The Redland Animal Shelter will be open on Anzac Day (25 April) and Labour Day (1 May), from 9am to 12pm on both days.

The shelter can be contacted on 3829 8663 during opening hours and on 3829 8999 after hours.

Redland Performing Arts Centre

The RPAC Box Office will be closed on Anzac Day (25 April) and Labour Day (1 May).

During these times, tickets can be purchased online via www.rpac.com.au

Redland Art Gallery

The galleries at Cleveland and Capalaba will be closed on Anzac Day (25 April) and Labour Day (1 May).

Redlands Coast Visitor Information Centre

The centre will be closed on Anzac Day (Tuesday 25 April).

For council-related emergencies, please phone 3829 8999.
