As a drought-declared area, Redland City Council, not-for-profit organisations and non-distributing co-operative organisations within Redland City are now automatically eligible to apply for funding under the Federal Government’s Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF) Round 4.

Applications close on 19 December 2019.

The grants are for infrastructure projects or community initiatives such as new or expanded local events and leadership and capability strengthening initiatives.

Prior to being drought-declared, Redland City applicants were required to provide evidence of the impact of the drought. With the drought declaration, applicants now only need to refer to the drought declaration of the Council area. If your organisation is considering an application, you may wish to include the link https://www.longpaddock.qld.gov.au/drought/drought-declarations/ as evidence of your project being in a drought-declared area.
