It’s a lawn way to the top: mowing progress across Redland City

Council teams and contractors are working hard to mow as many parks as possible throughout the Redlands following recent wet weather. This week we’ve been focusing on foreshore and high-use parks so residents and visitors can enjoy these areas over the Australia Day long weekend.

While we are working hard to mow as many places as possible, some parks may only have main sections and dog off-leash areas mowed, with other areas to be completed on our next visit. Cut grass will remain on the ground in some locations and be mowed in at a later date.

Grass is growing very quickly and with more wet weather on the way, it may be several weeks before we’ve caught up. Other councils in south east Queensland are facing the same issues with mowing, thanks for your patience!
