RDA Logan & Redlands (Queensland) will hold a two day housing and society forum in June to explore issues such as disability, youth and aged care needs, social housing and homelessness, new funding models and building partnerships.

Building Blocks for Change 2.0, co-hosted with Griffith University and facilitated by the former Premier of Tasmania David Bartlett, will be held at Sirromet Winery, Mt Cotton on June 10 and 11.

It will be the second housing forum for the Logan and Redlands region, following the RDA’s highly successful inaugural event in 2012. Housing, a national concern, is a significant and complicated issue in the region, with some of the most densely concentrated public housing in the state located in Logan, and Indigenous communities facing geographic disadvantage on Redlands’ islands.
